‘Giorgio’ is named in honour of Tiziano Bellini’s father, whose meticulous precision and unwavering passion continue to inspire the estate today. Produced exclusively from hand-harvested Ancellotta grown in the sandy soils of Sabbioni, the grapes undergo a prolonged period of appassimento before an extended maceration, revealing the extraordinary depth and refinement of this often-overlooked variety. Aromas of black cherry, wild berries and liquorice are layered with notes of white pepper, coffee, tobacco and sweet spice. The palate is velvety and intensely structured, balanced by vibrant freshness and a long, mineral finish. An ideal companion to braised meats, aged cheeses or slow-cooked game dishes.
