Versatile & astonishing German wines
Yes, Germany. Was there ever a more misunderstood source of great wines? Trocken Rieslings have the weight and versatility to match almost any food – Germans even drink Grosses Gewächs Riesling with venison, with some fruit sauce to help the match. It’s more versatile than almost any other white wine, and astonishingly good value.

Winemaking and viticultural standards have risen almost unnoticed by wine lovers in the UK, who are missing out on some seriously good wines.
