Friuli

Situated close to the Slovenian and Austrian borders, Friuli stretches from the Alps to the plains of the Adriatic, offering a range of climates and growing conditions. The region is lauded for its whites, but reds such as the native Refosco are gaining traction.

Cormòns is one of those producers bringing light to the native grapes of Friuli. A coop of 100 members formed in the 1960s, Cormòns craft wines from across Friuli from the esteemed Collio, through Friuli and Isonzo and down to Aquileia.
